So I know alot about dieting healthily and exercise and the importance and all, but whenever I try diet and exercise for the sake of toning up, I can never stay on track. I used to be able to stay on track for a week at max, but now I can’t get past a DAY. how can i stay motivated? my plan isnt too hard to keep up with , but my willpower is low.

I am interested in starting an exercise/diet routine that I will be able to start now and continue (will still be feasible) when I move back to college at the end of August. I guess I was just kind of wondering if anyone had any good suggestions of diets and exercises that worked well for them. Iām not in dire need of drastic weight loss, but would like to lose 10-15 lbs (I currently am 20 years old, 5ā6āā and about 140lbs).

I started a diet/exercise program to gain muscle (where they lift weights and do a bit of cardio 5 days a week), and eat healthy (balanced diet, with emphasis on lean protein and lots of veggies). How many days does it take to get noticeable results?
If you have personal experience with this, please tell me how long it took before you or someone else noticed changes in your body.

Over a year ago I started trying to live healthier.I’ve tried eating better & exercising more along with establishing a better sleeping pattern. My problem is my work schedule. It’s extremely inconsistent.I’m salaried so I’m required to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.I’m the manager of a restaurant,so I never have the same schedule.I never have the same 2 days off.My shifts tend to be at least 10 hours. My schedule this week, for example:M(off) T(9am-7pm) W(9am-6pm) Th(off) F(3pm-2am) Sa(3pm-2am) Su(9am-7pm). It makes it VERY difficult to eat meals at the same time every day much less plan them all out/cook them.Trying to find a regular time to exercise is a nightmare. And I’m not on a very good sleep schedule.I’ll get 4 hours a night on avg for a week & a half, then get 16 hours in one day because I’m so tired. Is there anybody else out there who has this problem? What are your ideas for developing a diet/exercise/sleep routine despite my work schedule?

I’m not in really good shape and don’t have enough time during the school year to exercise. I am about 5 foot 3 inches and 147 lbs. I would like to lose 15 – 25 pounds. I do not have access to exercise equipment except for a treadmill and 5 lb weights. What is a good exercise and diet I can use for the whole summer? Also can I lose 15-25 lbs in 3 months?
